Why Karate?
Karate provides all of the good things that you would want for any child, a caring atmosphere in which to meet new friends, build self esteem, self confidence, self discipline, respect for themselves and others, a very enjoyable way to become flexible and keep fit. It exercises both body and mind and I know of no other sport that provides so much benefit to children and adults alike.
PERSONAL TRAINING
We focus on training our athletes up to best standards to compete in national & international competitions. We have a variety of instructors with different skill sets to suit different individuals.
Group TRAINING
Most of our group training sessions are held in the evening, during the week. These sessions are split between different age groups to maximise the socialising between individuals whilst enjoying the sessions.
not into karate?
We are aware that karate is not everyone’s cup of tea but not to worry, we also host children’s parties for birthdays or other special occasions with our indoor bouncy castle and indoor junior football pitch when we are not chopping and kicking.

Inscape House School in Cheadle. The school meets the needs of young people with autism spectrum conditions (including Autism and Asperger’s syndrome) and other social communication difficulties
“Can I just say thank you again for the sessions. I was very impressed with how much you achieved with the group culminating in the grading of the final week. Our students are notoriously poor at sticking with activities especially when they become difficult but your enthusiasm and manner kept them motivated. The concentration levels they demonstrated in the class far outweigh what I’ve seen in school. They had fun as well as getting fitter. One particular pupil never, to my knowledge, has participated in any PE session within or out of school yet he attended each session with enthusiasm and commitment. All the pupils gained significantly in confidence and were thrilled when they passed the grading. Parents have also enthused and for those students who are still at Inscape next year there is the request to continue”.
